About
Bio
In 2013, I went on a bicycle trip across America searching for stories. I was driven by the belief that stories have the power to create empathy and understanding. Though I had little training and a terrible microphone (a pawn shop owner convinced me it was a real bargain), I had complete dedication to my self-appointed pilgrimage. During almost a year on the road, I talked to everyone — farmers, children, hermits — and taught myself to put strangers at ease, get good tape, and create a cohesive narrative.
This was the beginning of a career in audio storytelling.
I’ve since held many roles on various radio and podcast projects, some scrappy, others much more professional — from lead writer on a live variety show to audio editor for a weekly serialized radio drama to producer, editor, and head scorer at Israel Story, one of the top podcasts in the Middle East.
My freelance work has been featured on Nocturne, The Pulse, Out There and Sound Effect and I’ve done production work for NPR, Gimlet, ESPN, Audible, the Guardian and many others.
